Branson, Missouri is booming for 2006 as the Titanic is now open
The Branson museum is built to resemble the Titanic when it went down and is located on Branson's "Music Row" among the Branson theaters. It is 100 foot tall, which is equal to a 10 story building. The bow of the Titanic ship was recreated, with a pool that sprays water as though it were cutting through the ocean. As you walk into the ships side, you go through a mock iceberg where there are more than 400 artifacts and reconstructions of the ship along with life stories of many of its passengers.
This is part of Branson's efforts to expand the appeal of Branson and Missouri to all age groups. The Branson Landing is part of the development here, in Branson. The goal of the Landing is year around business and employment with it new attractions. Branson is booming with new construction of $173.5 million last year after $76 million the prior year. January of this year a new monthly record was set with $44.6 million of new construction permits.
The first and largest attraction in Branson, Silver Dollar City is also expanding. Silver Dollar City is where you can step back in history to the life style of the 1880's. The craft village is filled with 20th century thrills and 6 seasonal festivals. Celebration City amusement park is 4th of July every night with its mighty fireworks display. White Water, is a wave water park where young and old play.
Another major attraction is the Showboat Branson Belle, which cruises on Table Rock Lake while they feed and entertain you.

Baldknobbers Jamboree show opened their first show and are still playing to Branson crowds 46 years later. If you are fishing, taking picture, water skiing, scuba diving or just joy riding on Table Rock Lake, the clear water of Table Rock Lake is an ideal location.
Lake Taneycomo, a 20 mile long lake starts at Branson from the spillway of the Table Rock Lake. The cold water maintains the Rainbow and German trout in Lake Taneycomo. Lake Taneycomo is the 2nd best trout fishing lake in the United
States. Two new state records over 27 pounds were taken from Lake Taneycomo in 2005.
When it comes to recreation Branson Missouri. Table Rock Lake and Lake Taneycomo has it all. Near by areas such as Village of Indian Point, Kimberling City, Branson West, and Lampe which are all known for their recreation resorts and their hospitality while Lake Taneycomo flows through Branson.
The Branson Family Entertainment centers welcome the kids. From Silver Dollar City, the Tracks (go carts
and other entertainment), local caves including Fantastic Caverns, Talking Rocks Cavern, Marvel Cave and many others located nearby, Table Rock Lake cruises, ride the ducks, miniature golf courses, movie theaters, museums, theme parks and
water rides.
Guys, you may not want to tell your wife, Branson is home to 3 large discount shopping malls with hundreds of discount stores and dozens of smaller malls, just waiting for them to buy something for you at discounted prices.
